Operating model

How it works

This is the lean version: no custom marketplace yet, no creator dashboard yet, no expensive build until the manual process proves demand.

01

Creator submits a title

Creator provides title info, approved art, usage restrictions, and rights confirmation through a simple intake form.

02

Hub builds the product

The operator creates mockups, sets price, adds product copy, and creates a checkout/POD product link.

03

Fan buys the drop

The static site sends buyers to a hosted checkout. The site does not handle credit cards or sensitive payment data.

04

POD fulfills the order

A fulfillment partner prints, ships, and tracks the order. The hub handles the customer relationship.

05

Creator gets paid

At MVP stage, creator payouts can be calculated manually from net margin and paid on a monthly schedule.

Why not automate everything now?

Because the manual pain is the product roadmap.

If creator submissions become hard to manage, build intake tooling. If payout math becomes painful, automate statements. If order volume grows, integrate fulfillment deeper. Build what demand proves.

MVP Static catalog + external checkout + manual operations.
V1 Commerce backend, POD integrations, better admin flow.
Marketplace Creator accounts, art upload, Stripe Connect, dashboards.
